Terms of Service
Welcome to Hauld. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hauld website, applications, and services (together, the "Service") operated by Hauld ("Hauld", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
Hauld is an AI-powered tool that turns a flat product design (such as a logo or illustration) into a set of lifestyle product photographs intended for use in online shops, marketplaces, advertisements, and editorial contexts. The Service generates a bundle of five photographs per haul at 2048×2048 pixels in JPEG format (quality 92).
2. Your account
To use Hauld you must create an account, either by signing in with Google or by registering with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Hauld is offered to users 18 years of age or older.
3. Your content and our generations
You retain ownership of any design, image, or text you upload to the Service (your "Inputs"). You grant Hauld a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, and display your Inputs solely to provide the Service. We do not use your Inputs to train third-party models.
Photographs generated by the Service from your Inputs (the "Outputs") are yours to use commercially. We grant you a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to reproduce, modify, distribute, and publicly display the Outputs for any lawful purpose, including in product listings, paid advertising, and marketing collateral.
4. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the Service to upload, generate, or distribute content that:
- infringes third-party intellectual property rights you do not own or license;
- depicts minors in any sexual or exploitative context;
- contains hateful content targeting a protected class;
- impersonates real, identifiable individuals without their consent;
- is intended to defraud, harass, or impersonate Hauld or another user.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules and remove offending content without notice.
5. Payments and credits
Some plans on Hauld are paid. Pricing is displayed in US dollars at checkout. Credits and subscription allotments are non-transferable. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. See our Refund Policy for refund terms.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Generation times depend on third-party providers. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hauld shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of fifty US dollars ($50) or the amount you paid Hauld in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Hauld harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your Inputs, your use of Outputs, or your breach of these Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of Paris, France, unless mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
